Our “HOMELESS with PETS” program.

admin | November 8, 2015 in News and Updates | Comments (0)

PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online!

In November of 2012, Special Needs K9 hit the streets of NY City as well as some areas of NJ to start off our “Homeless with Pets” program.

This program was designed to help the homeless (many of whom are MILITARY VETERANS that our own country has FAILED) and their pets by supplying them with food…and yes that includes human food as well as dog food, blankets, cloths, few dollars and other daily necessities. We will also provide medical treatment for their pets when necessary, but only when our funds allow such actions (unfortunately so far, we have not had sufficient funds to provide medical care for the dogs in need since we started this program). We get NO government grants. We solely depend on donations, all of which go to our cause. We do NOT collect ANY salaries.

This program is to run indefinitely or until lack of funding forces us to shut it down. That’s the last thing we want to see as there are many people and animals living on the streets that NEED OUR HELP! So if you can find it in your heart to give a little, please go to our donate page. Again, there are no salaries paid out by SNK9 and all donations go directly to the needy.

UPDATE: 1-22-17  Our 2016-2017 program is underway. Hundreds of blankets as well as large amounts of clothing, dog food, human food, shoes etc have been given out throughout the NYC area. Our efforts will continue till the spring.

UPDATE: 11-08-15   NY City’s homeless rate is at a record high. As of Sept. 2015, there are 59,305 homeless people and that’s just in shelters alone! 23,923 of those are children! Most of the homeless with pets are NOT allowed inside the shelters. That’s where we come in…Today, we are heading out to the city to explore our old and some new locations of people without homes and their “best friends”. They need our HELP and we need YOURS.  It is truly heartbreaking to see this happening in today’s world but it’s not only happening, it’s getting worse. Our program goes full speed the weekend of Thanksgiving. Please consider a donation (any amount helps).  Most of the time due to the nature of our rescue mission, our medical bills exceed what we take in the form of donations (our only source). In the last 2 months, our medical bills alone totaled over $4,800 and our donations totaled $760.  It’s not poor planning or budgeting…we simply cannot predict medical conditions and costs till after the rescue is complete & the dogs are vetted. Once we commit ourselves to any dog, we can’t and won’t turn our back on them.

UPDATE: 2-14-13 “Valentine’s Day”:  So far we have done about 7 runs in NY and NJ. We have helped a number of people and their pets but we know there are many more as some are hard to track down. If you see any people with their pets living on the streets without homes and daily shelter that we all take so much for granted, please let us know of their location via e-mail info@specialneedsk9.org so we can help them.

We will continue to do our very best but we can NOT do it alone!  Please…..HELP US HELP THEM!

UPDATE with PHOTOS:  3-17-13  SNK9 at work in NYC caring for dogs living with the homeless.  Stacey of SNK9 and her niece Gabby and nephew Thomas helping to deliver blankets and dog food to the needy. It is great to see that the younger generation cares and wants to make a difference.

GRACE – Stray / Abandoned puppy victim to Hit & Run

admin | May 14, 2015 in News and Updates | Comments (0)

GraceGrace is a stray or abandoned 3-4 months old puppy mix who was struck down by a Hit & Run driver with her mamma, left to die. Mamma escaped without injury but Grace has 3 broken legs.  One will do OK with a splint and the other two require surgeries that need to be 6 weeks apart. One is a spiral fracture requiring rods and wires. Grace is currently hospitalized and her estimate (after a generous rescue discount) is $3,100, which includes the surgeries, meds, and hospitalization. If you’d like to help Grace, please donate here:  http://specialneedsk9.org/?page_id=10

Updates and more info coming soon.

GUNNER…Our latest rescue from Death Row!

admin | September 25, 2014 in News and Updates | Comments (0)

Gunner2

*GUNNER, OUR LATEST RESCUE* We pulled this sweet boy from an inner city shelter 2 days ago, right to the Animal Hospital! Gunner was neutered right away due to presence of ulcers! He needs the “works” as that shelter provides NO medical care! Despite the unfortunate false stereotype of his breed, Gunner is extremely SWEET and loving. He loves all the attention, even if it’s at the Animal Hospital where most dogs don’t want to be. Sadly for what he’s used to, the Animal Hospital is like the Ritz Carlton to him!

You can HELP & donate for Gunner here: http://specialneedsk9.org/?page_id=10 THANK YOU!

ELLIE…SICK & Saved from Death Row!

admin | in News and Updates | Comments (0)

Ellie5ELLIE is a SWEET 7 month old Pittie mix, found ABANDONED TIED to a FENCE. She has SEVERE demodex, ear infections & bacteria! We took her to the Vet where she is now HOSPITALIZED. PLEASE donate here: http://specialneedsk9.org/?page_id=10 to HELP ELLIE! We still have unpaid vet bills BUT we couldn’t LEAVE ELLIE BEHIND. She was taken to a crowded Inner City Shelter where she would NOT receive ANY MEDICAL TREATMENT and had NO CHANCE! HER ENTIRE BODY is INFLAMED! She has hardly any hair. Photos show her SKIN color, NOT HAIR! She has already received 3 baths at the hospital as well as other medications. We will update on her condition as soon as we get more test results back. Again, PLEASE consider donating… WE CAN’T DO IT ALONE!

Ellie6

**UPDATE** 9/25/2014

ELLIE is doing much better. She is extremely sweet, good with other dogs, children and all people :)

She is healthy enough to be scheduled to be spayed after which time she will be available for adoption.

RUGER…Homeless and sick!

admin | September 10, 2014 in News and Updates | Comments (0)

RugerRUGER was found homeless wondering the streets. Sick and his skin covered with mange we took this young boy in.

Less then a year old, this Pittie mix has had an allergic reaction to the medications and had to be hospitalized.

Ruger also had to undergo a surgical procedure for his eyes… see photo. The staples are temporary. This is due to entropion but he’s still a pup so he can’t have the regular entropion surgery.

More info & updates soon.

MINNIE…TERRIBLE case of NEGLECT!

admin | May 6, 2014 in Donations,Help Needed,News and Updates,Urgent | Comments (0)

MinnieWe intercepted a Chihuahua, who we now call MINNIE, in the parking lot of a kill shelter before being DUMPED! We had some hard cases lately and we’re NOT financially fit for this but WE TOOK HER ANYWAY…How could we NOT!!! This is just another example of terrible neglect of what we call “Man’s best friend”! One of the worst cases of neglect we have seen in a long time!

SHE COULD HARDLY WALK so we took her to an Animal Hospital right away and we are awaiting test results, blood-work, ultrasound etc. Minnie is about 7 years old and remains hospitalized. There are 3 tumors, 1 giant, 2 smaller…maybe more. In the very best case scenario, she is facing a leg amputation besides the tumor removals etc. If you’d like to donate toward Minnie’s medical care, please click here.  Don’t know what else to say…But how a human being could let this go untreated is COMPLETELY INHUMANE!!!

Cost or funding will play NO ROLE in our decision to proceed with care or to let this sweet dog “go”. Testing is already underway so it all depends on factors such as cancer, pain & suffering, quality of life, prognosis, vet recommendation etc…These are the only factors that will decide Minnie’s fate. ONLY whatever is in Minnie’s best interest, free of any suffering!

COREY…Blind, Neglected & Thrown away!

admin | May 4, 2014 in News and Updates | Comments (0)

CoreyCOREY, the BLIND 2 time NY ACC Shelter resident and DEATH ROW inmate is our Latest Arrival. VICTIM OF NEGLECT, HE HAS SERIOUS MEDICAL ISSUES THAT REQUIRE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION & SURGERY ON BOTH EYES! **BELOW is COREY’S STORY & DETAILS but first, if you’d like to help with his medical costs, here is our donate link: http://specialneedsk9.org/?page_id=10
**THIS IS COREY’S STORY: Although listed as BLIND, we believe he may have “some” limited vision BUT has entropion in both eyes requiring immediate surgery! It is a painful condition where eyelashes grow inward, scratching the eyeballs as well as conjunctivitis, terrible ear infection, need for neutering etc. IN PAIN & constant discomfort, COREY was terribly NEGLECTED for 8 months by the last owner who took him from the shelter and provided COREY with NO MEDICAL ATTENTION Corey3WHATSOEVER only to return him back to the shelter several days ago (after 8 months). COREY, now with a BROKEN HEART, had to face DEATH ONCE AGAIN. COREY is 7 years old and VERY SWEET with people, kids, other dogs as well as cats. NOT A BAD BONE IN HIS BODY but his BLINDNESS & misfortune of having medical issues has nearly cost him his life…TWICE! NEVER AGAIN…NOW HE IS SAFE AND WILL NEVER BE RETURNED…EVER!!!
Without funds & fosters, rescues are helpless! So we are very grateful to Amy Grzankowski, and thank her for stepping up to foster COREY for us! Becoming a foster for any rescue is very special and SAVES LIVES, especially hard cases like COREY with medical issues who really don’t stand much of a chance inside the shelters! Another THANKS goes to Vallie Koren of Zani’s Furry Friends for all her help and rescue work! We greatly appreciate it!!! WORKING TOGETHER SAVES LIVES…SO PLEASE CONSIDER GETTING INVOLVED…ANY WAY YOU CAN. FOSTER,VOLUNTEER OR DONATE…IT ALL MAKES A DIFFERENCE! THANK YOU!

Your donations save the lives of dogs like BELLA

admin | January 5, 2014 in News and Updates | Comments (0)

This is Bella’s story…

Bella header copy final web

BELLA was used as a backyard breeding dog, kept in a small crate where she could not even stand up. When she wouldn’t breed anymore, she was used as a “bait dog” for illegal dog fighting. After that, Bella who was full of scars and unable to walk, was thrown away into a high kill inner city shelter. She was saved by Stacey of “Special Needs K9” literally seconds before her execution as they stood over Bella with the needle in hand repeatedly telling Stacey to get out of the way that she was “holding them up”. Stacey was finally able to pick Bella up off the floor and take her out of the chamber of hell into safety. Although Bella couldn’t even walk at the time of her rescue, today she runs like the wind and lives in a loving home with her friend Toby, who was also rescued from death row by SNK9.

To fully grasp the transformation, you MUST watch the below videos, each is only less then one minute long!

Below is BELLA about one WEEK after her rescue

(Video taken at Oradell Animal Hospital)

Below is BELLA about one YEAR after her rescue

COCOA, another dog DUMPED by her owner to a kill shelter.

admin | September 26, 2013 in News and Updates | Comments (0)

Cocoa is a young Chihuahua who was taken to a kill shelter in SC where she was abandoned by her owner.
Cocoa has a deformed neck but according to the shelter vet, it doesn’t cause her any pain. We have been in contact with the shelter staff and committed ourselves to Cocoa. She will be spayed , vaccinated and tested for any illnesses and then transported to us in NJ. She will be available for adoption as soon as she arrives here.
More info will come as we get it.

ANGEL…intercepted while being DUMPED by her owner.

admin | August 18, 2013 in News and Updates | Comments (0)

Angel, an emaciated Pittie mix was in the process of being dumped by her owner at a high kill shelter in New York City. Pit Bulls or their mixes and especially those black in color are statistically the least likely to get adopted, so we intercepted ANGEL at the “gate of death.” Dogs like her usually get a couple of days (if even that much) before they are euthanized by the shelter.

Angel had a scared and confused look in her eyes, and rightly so. Why would my master, my companion, my best friend be giving me up, she must have thought. Sadly, this happens so often and results in millions of dogs being killed inside the shelter walls each year!

But Angel was lucky that day that Stacey of SNK9 and a fellow rescuer Carolyn of Kamp Kanine were visiting the shelter that day. In fact it saved Angel’s life.

Angel has since been spayed and received all her shots. She did have some old internal injuries consistent with being struck by a car, BUT the good news is that in the long run this will not effect her life in any way!

Angel is ready for adoption now.  She extremely SWEET and is great with all people, children and other dogs!

BELLE…passed out & HOMELESS in NYC during heat wave.

admin | in Donations,Help Needed,News and Updates | Comments (0)

BELLE was found overcome by heat on “Belmont” Avenue of Queens in New York City during the heat wave of July, 2013. (see photo)

We took Belle to an Animal Hospital where she had to spend two nights due to exposure to heat and heavy breathing.  While at the hospital, she was spayed and received all her vaccinations. She also received some dental work (K9 removed) and cleaning due to the poor condition of her teeth and infection.

Although Belle was homeless, we found her to be an extremely very sweet and submissive dog.  All she wants to do is give kisses and play.

Belle is good with children, all people as well as all dogs, cats and other pets.

She is a true sweetheart and a sharp contradiction to a common stereotype of dogs of same or similar breed, especially those living on the streets.

She is one of the sweetest dogs we have come ever come across…but then again…aren’t they all? :)

PEARL..HOMELESS victim of ABUSE with a BROKEN JAW.

admin | in Help Needed,Success Stories | Comments (0)

PEARL (hiding in the back of the photo) was found scared and living in garbage by Animal Control in central New Jersey.

Used for breeding at some point in her life as well as an obvious victim of ABUSE, Pearl was found with a bloody nose which was later diagnosed as a BROKEN JAW.

This blunt force trauma injury was certainly no accident.

Kicked in the face or being struck by a hard object was most likely just a part of what that caused this extremely sweet dog to be very fearful as well as “emotionally shut down.”

Although Pearl’s spirit seems to be broken, we know that kindness, love and a stable home will give this girl a chance not only at life full of love and happiness but also a chance to trust humans again.

Pearl has undergone surgery to repair and wire her jaw. She will need a second surgery in a couple of months to remove the wires after which time she will become available for adoption.

Pearl is 4-5 years old,  has been spayed and is up to date on all her shots.

JAKE, found homeless, curled up in a ball in below freezing conditions.

admin | February 17, 2013 in Help Needed,News and Updates | Comments (0)

Jake is a 5 year old Pittie Lab mix who was found outside curled up in a ball in below freezing conditions. Frostbite on his paws, his body just skin and bones, he had no one to love and no place to go!

SNK9 was contacted by a concerned citizen for help but we had no room for Jake. The only other option was to bring Jake to a nearby local shelter. We were very familiar with that specific inner city shelter, their high euthanasia rate as well as extremely poor conditions…..so that was not an option. We posted a request for help on our facebook page and as the “power of sharing” went into high gear, we finally received an offer to foster Jake as well as several donations toward his medical care.  So it was a done deal…we were taking him and he would be safe!

Judging from his emaciated body and thick calluses on his joints, Jake has had a rough life thus far but his soul is warm, kind, gentle and loving. He is currently in a foster home surrounded by a wonderful family and young children including an infant. He is also good with other dogs and cats.  For those that would draw a conclusion about Jake or other dogs with similar appreance, Jake is a perfect example of proving how wrong stereotyping dogs can be! Once he gets stronger and healthier, Jake will be neutered and he will then be available for adoption.

BRANDY, “thrown away” senior from FL rescued from euthanasia.

admin | in Help Needed,News and Updates,Success Stories | Comments (0)

Brandy is a sweet senior from Florida, who was surrendered to a local High Kill Shelter by her owner because she was “too old”!

Since a mixed breed over 10 years old that needs medical attention is not at the top of anyone’s adoption list, Brandy was scheduled to be euthanized or as many shelters put it “destroyed”.  HER ONLY CRIME…GETTING OLD!

Special Needs K9 contacted the shelter and put a stop to the execution while looking for a way to get Brandy from FL to NJ. We enlisted the help of Neil Golden of “On The Road Again” and Martha Chandler of “Martha’s Mutt Movers”. They quickly and flawlessly organized the transport and with the help of over 20 volunteers, each of whom transported her part of the way, Brandy finally arrived in NJ two days later. (Brandy’s transport photo gallery)

Brandy was tired and confused, but she was alive. She was diagnosed with mange and giardia. These are common in shelters with poor and dirty kennel conditions. Brandy is currently in ISO at Kamp Kanine while she recuperates. She will be spayed once she gets healthy and will then be available for adoption.

Although Brandy made it out, let’s not forget the thousands of senior dogs that are euthanized in shelters across the country each year after becoming a “nuisance” to their owners who turn them over to shelters for execution!

AMY, rescued from Georgia’s DEATH ROW.

admin | February 16, 2013 in Help Needed,News and Updates | Comments (0)

Amy is a sweet Pit Bull mix, who was rescued from euthanasia by SNK9 from a high kill shelter in GA.

Amy had just given birth to a litter before being picked up by animal control roaming the streets.  She was taken to the local shelter and unfortunately no one knows what happened to her babies. She was obviously in need of medical attention but was quickly placed on a “Put to Sleep” list by the shelter.

Special Needs K9 pulled her from the brink of death just in time and she was transported to NJ. Due to foster homes shortage, Amy was housed at Kamp Kanine, a 24 hour boarding and doggie day care facility that we work with. She was diagnosed with heartworm disease, giardia, an enlarged heart as well as swollen lungs and will require extensive medical care.

Amy is approximately 5 years old. She is very sweet, loving and gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats as well as with all people and children. So far, she has had a life full of pain, sadness and disappointments. She deserves a chance at better life and a loving home!

HOLLY, an 11 month old Christmas miracle needs a home!

admin | February 6, 2012 in Donations,Help Needed,News and Updates,Special Needs Adoptions,Success Stories | Comments (0)

Holly is an 11 month old Pittie mix and just like Noelle, she was scheduled to be euthanized on Christmas 2011, at a high kill NYC shelter. There was going to be no evaluation and Holly was automatically placed on a “Euth list” since she had a terrible case of mange, a skin condition causing open wounds and scabs all over the body, as well as hair loss.

We already took in Noelle and didn’t want to leave Holly behind to die just because she was sick! But we had no foster homes available for her. Once again, we turned for help to our friends at Zani’s Furry Friends in NYC and Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge (RBARI) in Oakland, NJ.

Joining hands with others that share our passion for saving lives of innocent animals would once again prove to work and save Holly’s life. The girl’s at Zani’s helped us get Holly out of the shelter. We agreed to take care of her medical bills and RBARI agreed to house her once she was well enough to leave the hospital.

Once at the hospital, besides the mange, Holly was also found to suffer from a number of ailments including Canine Influenza, which is highly contagious. She would have to be quarantined for at least a couple of weeks.

About one month later, on the same day Noelle was released from the hospital, Holly was getting her discharge papers as well. She was now healthy and her coat is getting much better. It will still take some time to get her coat back to normal but she is expected to make a 100% recovery. She is extremely sweet, submissive and excellent around people, children and other dogs.

Holly is currently housed at the RBARI facility in Oakland, NJ where she goes by the name Molly to aviod confusion with a different Holly that used to reside there.  Holly/Molly is up to date with all her shots and can be visited during normal adoption hours (to view adoption hours, click on the RBARI link above).  PHOTO ABOVE, HOLLY/MOLLY NOW.

NOELLE is a sweet 1 1/2 year old Pittie mix ready for adoption!

admin | in Donations,Help Needed,News and Updates,Special Needs Adoptions,Success Stories | Comments (0)

Noelle is a very sweet Pittie mix who was scheduled to be euthanized on Christmas at a high kill NYC shelter. Noelle didn’t stand a chance since her leg was broken and the shelter does not evaluate dogs that come in sick or with an injury. They are just placed on the “Euth list” and their sentence is carried out within a couple of days. Noelle’s sentence was to be carried out on 12/24/2011…Christmas Eve.

We specialize in the rescue of the ones left behind, the least likely to get adopted and the most likely to be put to sleep inside the shelter walls. Noelle was a perfect candidate. It was a race against time and with only hours to spare, Noelle was pulled from the shelter into the safe hands of SNK9. Noelle was saved on Christmas day and was taken to Pompton Lakes Animal Hospital for treatment of the broken leg. Since she was saved on Christmas Eve, we felt the name Noelle suited her better then her shelter name “Hilda”. We owe a huge thanks to Zani’s Furry Friends rescue (NYC) for helping us get Noelle to safety.

Noelle spent nearly a month at the hospital healing her broken leg and later a foot infection on the same leg. She was finally released at the end of January and went to her foster home, with the assistance of another great rescue located by the Jersey shore, Rescue Ridge. Noelle’s cast has been removed and she is healing beautifully, receiving tons of love from her foster friends.

Noelle is another one of many examples of how working together saves lives. We were not afraid to ask for help from others and others were not affraid to step with us into the “unknown” and save an innocent life!

Noelle is spayed and up to date with all her shots. All she now needs is a loving family to share her life with.

NOAH has been adopted!

Noah has been adopted by a wonderful family in Virginia. He will be living on 11 acres of land with 4 other dogs and 6 cats.

Less posts, more work!

admin | December 23, 2011 in News and Updates | Comments (0)

We know we have not posted much lately. We are currently helping with nearly a dozen medical post adoption, rescue and victims of the economy cases. From broken bones, dislocations, infections and wheelchairs, etc., we are very much in full operation. Without our intervention most of these cases would end up back in the shelters or worse. We do not post and share these activities since it is not only time consuming, but would serve no purpose other then self-praise. That’s something we do not engage in. If you are considering a contribution to our cause and would like to know more about what it is that we are working on, please don’t hesitate to e-mail or call us and we will be happy to fill you in on the details

IceIce is a 5 months old blind Pittie mix puppy. Ice came from a neglectful and abusive home. He is safe now, but we need to find him a more permanent foster home or forever home! Please don’t stop reading…this boy needs and deserves a chance and once you learn more, you won’t even know he is blind as some people that have met him didn’t even realize that this little boy could not see!

After a mountain of tests and an MRI, the doctors have determined that any abuse that Ice may have suffered did not cause the blindness. The doctors say he was most likely just born this way. No one even knew that Ice is also hearing impaired but can hear and does respond to human voice. This came to light only after the tests at the animal hospital. We also believe he might be able to see shadows…either that or he uses him nose like a sophisticated radar since he is able run around the foster family’s yard and turn before hitting the solid fence or the trees. Dogs have such a great sense of smell that they easily compensate for the loss of sight or impairment thereof.

The good news is that Ice’s condition is non-progressive, he is otherwise perfectly healthy and can live a healthy and happy life!

All we are asking is that people open their minds. The rest will follow…Once you meet this wonderboy, you might just open your heart and your home to him.

We are still attempting to figure out if any of this can be reversed since it is fluid in the brain that has caused this condition…and once again, this is a non-progressive condition so nothing will get worse.

VIDEO of ICE running and playing coming soon. You will be amazed at his navigation skills!

We will post any updates as we get them.

TOBY, a sweet young Pittie mix with a deformed leg needs a home!

Toby is a small one year old Pit Bull Terrier mix that we pulled from the Newark shelter. He weighs in at only 28 lbs but has a very big heart.

Toby1He is special since he was born with the ligaments missing in the bottom portion of his right front leg, causing the lower portion of the leg to sway forward and act as a foot. But don’t feel sorry for this little guy. He was born this way and he gets around very easily by hopping like a bunny when he runs, using his right leg mostly to assist his left…and he can run! He walks just like all other dogs with a slight limp. The leg also has an enlarged paw cushion/pad just above his paw, which protects his elbow from being scraped against the ground and it works perfectly. He has absolutely zero pain from his condition which is non-progressive and is otherwise perfectly healthy.

Toby is great with people and other dogs. He is also neutered and up to date with all his shots.

Toby has a lot to offer. He is a very happy, friendly and loving boy! All he needs now is a place he can call home and someone to share his life with.

BUDDY #2 goes to SAS.

Buddy #2, a 5 year old Shiba Inu Huskie mix, who was abused then thrown away only to end up on death row in a high kill NY shelter, has been Buddydelivered to Spirit Animal Sanctuary (SAS) by SNK9.

Buddy also suffers from hip, leg and ankle problems resulting from being hit by a car before ending up at the shelter. Buddy #2 was rescued from the shelter by a dedicated animal lover. Through a chain of events and no fault of his own, Buddy became virtually unadoptable and SNK9’s help was enlisted. He has joined our Buddy #1 and Reuben at the sanctuary, and we wish him all the best!

HALO…abused, neglected, sick and abandoned, saved by SNK9.

Halo is a sweet 3 year old Pit Bull Terrier. Judging by his appearance, one might say this emaciated, scar-ridden boy is a senior on his “last leg.”

Halo W1Severely abused, neglected and then thrown away to a high kill NY shelter, Halo was very sick and set to be euthanized on July, 25th, 2011, only 4 days after being “dumped off.” Although mild mannered and sweet, he was just another dog least likely to be adopted that was going to suffer the consequences of human “unkindness.” We were not about to let him be punished due to the actions of his previous owner, someone without a conscience and a heart. Halo was put on hold and saved by SNK9 the day he was scheduled to die.

Halo WOnce in our hands, Halo was transported directly to Pompton Lakes Animal in NJ for treatment and rehabilitation. Six weeks later, Halo still remains at the hospital until he gets healthy enough to go to foster care. His progress has been slow but steady. He has been receiving great care and attention at the hospital. He is always happy to see people and other dogs. To us, he is “just another dog” that examplifies how quickly abused dogs forgive and their power to love.

Stay tuned for updates!
